How it works

Sidebar the venue's own ads Main window local businesses' ads Ticker · specials · weather · scores

1. The screen

A TV with a small ad player attached. The screen has three parts: the main window for advertisers' ads, a sidebar for the venue's own ads, and a ticker across the bottom with the venue's messages, the weather and the scores. Ads run as 15- or 30-second spots in a loop of about ten minutes.

2. The ads

We build each ad from the advertiser's own website, logo, photos and offers, and suggest four different versions. The advertiser can change the words or photos, ask for changes in plain words, and approve the one they want. Our team reviews every ad before it goes on screen, and each ad can carry a QR code that people scan for a booking page or an offer.

3. Delivery

New content is prepared in the cloud and downloaded to each screen overnight. It then plays from the screen itself, so there's no buffering and no need for fast internet during business hours. The ticker updates within seconds when the venue changes it.

4. Engagement

Venues can add trivia between the ads — a question, then an ad, then the answer — so people keep looking up at the screen.

5. Monitoring

Every screen checks in with our control center. We see if a screen is offline or the TV has been switched off or to another input, and we act on it — usually before anyone notices.
